Cyber Unit

Hezbollah's cyber unit is a joint unit with Iranian intelligence bodies. It comprises veteran hackers and other employees who specialize in various cyber spheres.
The unit attacks a wide variety of targets, including Lebanese companies, government organizations, and residents of Lebanon. These attacks are a significant means for collecting a great deal of inside information, which Hezbollah uses to control Lebanese public opinion and to trace opponents.
As such, the unit undermines Lebanon’s sovereignty, and clearly serves the interests of Hezbollah and Iran.
The unit also attacks a wide range of targets in various Arab and Western countries, to serve the same interests.
